MISSION & HISTORY.
Anari Breeze serves families by providing caring, personalized, and professional support for children and young adults who have been impacted by incarceration, disability, or otherwise experienced trauma from loss.
Anari Breeze derives it's name from Anari Breeze Smith, the daughter of founder Shameka Powell. In 2016, Anari Breeze passed away under the care of a babysitter as Powell worked. This unexpected loss and its aftermath inspired Powell to found an organization focused on supporting grieving families such as her own.
WHAT WE DO
Currently, we support grieving families through providing food assistance as well as clothing, toys, flowers, hygiene products and gift baskets. As we expand, we hope to provide more comprehensive services including grief counselling, life coaching, funeral and cremation assistance, housing assistance, life insurance education, and social support programs.
OUR VISION
We seek to be the most respected name in the nonprofit funeral industry to offer services to all families without regard to race, religious beliefs, or economic constraints.

Anari B Smith Foundation is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization empowering individuals to restore hope and happiness to children & young adults impacted by foster care, incarceration, and trauma
